Hello out there!

Welcome back. I’m playing along with Color Dare again this week.

This is an extra fun one- choose at least three colors from this photo.

I chose pink, purple, and white. Gold & black are my neutrals.

I decided to make a valentine for my 4 year old grandson.

Here’s a photo of most of the supplies.

Add some Distress Inks in Kitsch Flamingo & Dusty Concord.

I used up a lot of scraps for this card, along with a left over gold card base from Christmas card making.

First, get out some white card stock and stencil hearts using Dusty Concord and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Inks. Once your stenciling is finished, take the left over ink on your brushes and add more color to the paper. Trim to a rectangle measuring 3 1/4 x 4 3/4″ and mat on black card stock. Center this on the card front.

Next, stamp the monster on white card stock with black ink.

Color your monster pink and purple. I used colored pencils.

Add a little Kitsch Flamingo ink over the monster and trim into a 2×2″ square. Ink the edge with Dusty Concord.  Mat onto black card stock.

Stamp the sentiment on white card stock. Trim into a strip, edge with Dusty Concord, and mat on black card stock.

Assemble the card as shown, add google eyes,  and there ya go!
