Hello out there! I’m so glad you stopped by!

Today I have a fun card to share, playing along with the Color Dare challenge. Ya’ll should join me!

This week’s challenge is to use at least three rainbow colors.

I pulled out three Simon Hurley ink colors- Bee Sting (red), Overealous (green), and Clear Skies (blue) for my rainbow colors.

Here’s a shot of most of the supplies-

Ok let’s make a card!

First you’ll need two white card stock panels and your (at least) three rainbow ink colors.

Using blending brushes, ink the panel. Once the ink is dry, die cut two pennant banners and set aside for now.

On the second panel, stamp (or stencil) a background. I used a very old heart stamp from Alte New.

I inked the stamp using Clear Skies & Overzealous, and just repeat stamped over the panel.

Once the background is complete, trim down. (I used a Waffle Flower die)

After it’s trimmed, use one of the colors you stamped with to ink the edge. Mat onto a black panel and put on the card.

Now get those banners out. I die cut letters from black card stock using a Tim Holtz die set- but you can do your letters however you like. Tiny letter stickers, stamps, whatever fits.

Once your letters are on the banners, trim and place on card front as shown.

Stamp the truck onto white card stock with black ink and set aside.

Mask off the truck, leaving only the hearts exposed on the stamp. Ink the hearts with red ink, remove the masking, and stamp onto the card. Cut out the black stamped truck, minus the hearts. Add to card front with foam squares for a little dimension.

For a final embellishment, add some hearts to the back of the truck. If you don’t have these tiny hearts, you could punch or die cut some, or use sequins or Dew Drops.

I forgot to take a photo, but I stamped the hearts inside the card along the bottom using the same blue and green inks as the front of the card.
