Hello there!
It’s challenge time once again!
You should join me and play along!
This week we have a color grid and need to choose 3 colors. I am using Espresso, Mocha, and my substitute for Mist is Distress Oxide Stormy Sky.
Here’s most of the supplies….let’s make a card.
This is a super simple card.
I used a cover plate die from The Tall Mouse, cutting it from Espresso card stock.
If you don’t have Mist card stock, ink up some white card stock with Stormy Sky. Once it’s dry, layer the die cut over it. Add this to the card front.
Find two white flowers and ink ’em up with the Stormy Sky, or if you have Mist, you could just die cut some.
Add gold splatter to the flowers.
Die cut some foliage from Mocha and Espresso.
I used some dies that came with the Sizzix switch, but use what makes ya happy.
Stamp & emboss the sentiment with gold embossing powder onto Mocha card stock.
Trim into a rectangle.
Arrange your foliage and add the sentiment on some foam tape.
Layer & add the inked flowers and give the flower a center with gold enamel dot.
Add a few more enamel dots to the card front.
