Hi there, welcome back!

Today I’m working on the Color Dare challenge. Come play along!

This was a fun one, you have to pull colors from this inspiration photo.

I have Sundance & Mulberry cardstocks from Close to My Heart in my stash so I started with those.

Here’s my card, what do ya think?

Here’s most of the supplies-

Ok, let’s make a card.

First you’ll need some watercolor paper and black ink. I’m using this lovely large floral image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.

Stamp this awesome floral in the center of a 4.5×5.5 piece of watercolor paper. You can emboss it or just wait and make sure your ink is completely dry. While your stamp and ink are handy, cut a piece of Mulberry Cardstock to 4×5″ and stamp the floral image down the center. Set aside.

Watercolor/color your image. I used Distress Watercolor pencils in these colors: Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo, Fossilized Amber, Frayed Burlap, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive. Let dry completely or dry with heat tool.

Cover the card front with Sundance Cardstock and layer on the stamped Mulberry panel.

Cut out you stamped and colored image and layer it over the Mulberry stamped image. Trim at the top and bottom if needed.

Add some bling. I used confetti from Trinity Stamps.

Add your sentiment across the center with foam tape for some dimension.
