Hey there! Welcome back!

Today I have a foxy card to share, playing along with the Color Dare challenge blog. Why don’t you join me? 😁

This week’s challenge is a tic tac toe. I chose the middle row so I used Shortbread, gold, and Pine.

Here’s the card I created. I am pretty happy with it.

Here’s shot of the card stocks and the stamp. This foxy guy is from Viva Las Vegasstamps!

Let’s make a card!

Grab your Pine and Shortbread card stocks, and stamp the fox once on each piece.

Die cut a tag from Shortbread card stock and stamp the fox again in the center of the tag. Ink the tag edges with black ink.

Fussy cut the fox from the Shortbread and cut out just his jacket from the Pine. Layer the jacket over the fox. Add striped to his shirt with a white gel pen. Add a dot to the highlight on his nose with the white gel pen.

Add some ribbon or trim to the hole in the tag. I used a Tiny Attacher for this.

Glue the fox with his Pine jacket directly over the stamped fox on the tag. This is how I get around trying to cut out the tiny bits like whiskers and wings. Add a little color to the fox with a brown colored pencil.

Cut a strip of Pine, a strip of gold and a strip of Shortbread.

Stamp a background image onto the Pine with white ink.

Use a border punch along one edge of the Shortbread and run it through an embossing folder. Sand the embossed parts to let the white core of the paper show.

Add the paper strips to the right side of the card as shown.

Use foam to add the tag to the card, centering it over the paper strips. Add a sentiment strip across the tag below the fox, using some foam at the left end to keep it level with the tag.

Add some gold gel pen to the buttons on the fox’s coat, and add some embellishments. I used tiny hearts from Close to My Heart and confetti from Trinity stamps.
