Hello out there. I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend.

Today I’d like to share an art journal page with you. It’s also up on my You Tube channel. I’d love you to take a look!. You can see it here.

I don’t have a full totorial here today since this is on You Tube but here’s a condensed version 😁

I worked on a piece of watercolor paper.

Scribble some Gelatos on the paper and use a tough brush with water to scrub the Gelatos into the paper and move the colors around. Once it’s dry add a piece of old book paper using matte medium to adhere it to the page.

Once the book paper and adhesive is dry, add Gelatos over the book paper to help it blend into the base background.

Once everything is dry, get out some Stencil Butter and a stencil. I used the color Champagne and a Tim Holtz stencil. Stencil the design down the right side of the page.

Stamp the giraffe on the left side of the page using a permanent black ink.

I only stamped it once because I wanted it to be slightly faded. If you don’t want that effect, you could use a stamp platform to stamp multiple times.

Stamp the sentiment to the right of the giraffe, in between the giraffe and the stenciled image.

Add a little color to the giraffe with yellow and pink Gelatos.
