Hello friends. Let’s play along with the Color Dare Challenge, shall we?

This week we have a tick tac toe. I chose the left column- Flamingo, Honey Butter, and Wisteria.

I had all of these colors in my stash. YAY!

The card I made used all die cuts and one sentiment strip.

This is a great way to use up your scraps.

Here’s a shot of most of the supplies.

Let’s get started.

I used a top fold white card base.

Cut two 1/4″ strips of each color. Add them to the card front at an angle. Trim as needed.

Cut a white rectangle 2×3 1/2″ and mat with black. Add to card front as shown.

Die cut three flowers from Honey Butter and one bird from Flamingo.

Add a little Kitsch Flamingo ink to the bird’s wing, and a little Fossilized Amber to the flowers.

Add a scrap of Flamingo card stock behind the bird wing, and a scrap of Honey Butter behind his belly.

Trim down a white sentiment strip and mat with black card stock.

Add some foam adhesive to the back.

Add the elements to the card front as shown. The bird and flowers are glued flat and the strip has foam adhesive behind it.

Add some bling to the arrangement. I added a cute little heart and gave the bird a rhinestone eye.

Supplies-

  • white card base, dies, die cut machine, adhesives, scissors
  • card stock- white, black, Flamingo, Honey Butter, Wisteria (or whatever ya have that’s close)
