Hello my fine feathered friends.

Today I’d like to share two cards with you.

I used a set of dies from Spellbinders for some fancy edges.

Note- this set is no longer available so I’ve linked to another one that’s similar in the supply list.

My first card is for fall. I used a stamp from Tim Holtz/Stamper’s Anonymous and a Joulee’s Boutique bow.

Cute, ‘eh?

This started with a white card base in the landscape orientation.

Use the border dies along the long edge of a Kraft panel (5.5″ x 4.25″), and add this cut panel to the card front.

Next, get a scrap of fall patterned paper and use a border die along one long edge. Trim to fit the card front, lining up the fancy edge of the patterned paper with the fancy edge of the Kraft paper.

Now, add a nice large burlap bow.

I picked these up at Michael’s Crafts for 99 cents!!

Now find a scrap of white card stock and stamp the pumpkin. Trim into a square, distress the edges, and ink the edges. Add a little color to the pumpkin- I used a blending brush and Distress Oxide ink.

Place the pumpkin on the card front, and you’e finished.

The second card uses the awesome Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush papers.

I really like the way this card turned out. It’s so bright and cheery.

Start with a white card base in landscape orientation.

Cut a black panel  (4 x 5.25″) for the card front and adhere.

Cut a panel of the floral paper (3.75×5″) and use the edge die on one of the short edges.

Now cut strips of two other patterned papers (I cut my strips about 2″ wide) and run through the die cutter using a edge die on the long edges of each strip.

Now layer these two strips on the floral panel and trim the ends.

Now add this panel to the card front.

Now pull out some tiny floral die cuts. These are from Spellbinders.

Make a little cluster of florals near the fancy edges to the side of the card. Add a tiny sentiment.

This sentiment was stamped on white card stock and mounted on yellow glitter card stock.
