Hello friends! Happy spooky season.

Today I’d like to share this tiny Halloween vignette.

This is the final Halloween project for this year.

This little baby measures 2.5×3.5″ and uses mostly Tim Holtz & Ranger goodies.

First thing I did was give the vignette box a light wash of black paint to darken it up. Then I pulled out the Tim Holtz Idea-ology goodies and started choosing pieces for the box.

I ‘wallpapered’ the back of the box with Idea-ology bits, doing some inking with Vintage Photo & Black Soot Distress Inks before gluing the pieces inside.

Then I stamped and embossed the spider web on some Collage tissue, cut it out, and applied it inside the box. I like how that looks.

I randomly added some Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Glaze and some black sparkle embossing powder inside the box, too.

The crystal ball and is from Michael’s and the tiny flowers are from the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby. And ya KNOW I had to add some Dew Drops.

I topped this box with some Mummy Cloth (Tim Holtz) that I dyed and pulled apart a little bit.  I knotted it with some twine and gold thread and glued it to the top of the box. Once the glue was dry I added the tiny red flowers and metallic Dew Drops.

The cool eyes are also Idea-ology. I inked them with alcohol ink, and they are actually two different color eyes.

I added the same dyed mummy cloth inside the bottom of the box. Once the glue was dry, I added the crystal ball, red flowers, and Dew drops.

I was so pleased with the way this turned out. It’s cute and slightly creepy.
