Hello out there!
I’ve got another card to share with ya today, this time playing along with Color Dare Challenge Blog #537.
This week’s challenge is to use Grape and one more color. I chose Lagoon.
I was happy that I had these colors in my stash- but us whatever ya have that’s close.
For ink, Distress Ink in Dusty Concord works great for Grape.
Here’s my card project.
Here’s a shot of most of the supplies.
Let’s get started.
Use a cover plate die and cut it out twice. Stack and glue them together.
Adhere the stacked die cuts over a card from panel (4.25×5.5″)
I used some leftover stickers from last year. Add a sticker to the card front.
Cut the sentiment three times from Lagoon card stock. Stack ’em up.
Add a flower die cut or sticker to the card front, and then add the sentiment over it.
Add a little bling and you’re done. I used confetti from Trinity Stamps.
Supplies-
- card base, die cut machine, cover plate die, word dies, adhesive, liquid glue, scissors
- Grape & Lagoon card stock
- stickers or die cuts
- confetti from Trinity Stamps
Beautiful background die, and your stickers are perfect for it. This is one of my favorite paperpacks and I hoard the little I have left; but I must pull it out and do something with it.
I bought it twice I liked it so much LOL
I don’t have much of it left, and like you have been hoarding the remnants.
Love the tone on tone background and the little filmstrip. Those details draw the eye to your beautiful flower!
Beautiful card! I love the filmstrip behind the flower… I would have never thought to use that and is looks so stunning.
This is so pretty and I love that tone on tone background!
LOVE that cover plate! Great use of leftovers. The filmstrip is perfect for grounding the flower.
