I have a pretty card to share that started out with an accident 😂
I stamped this gorgeous Tim Holtz image onto watercolor paper and I didn’t wait long enough for it to dry, so the ink ran. I stashed it away for awhile and finally decided to use it rather than throw it away. I like the look of it.
I’ve got a white card base, some black card stock, and my runny image. I added just a small bit of color with Distress Watercolor Pencils.
Cover the card front with black card stock and trim the stamped panel to 4x 5.25″.
Center the panel on the card front.
Turn your card to landscape position and decide where your sentiment is gonna go. Add some threads where the sentiment will go. I created my sentiment with some Tim Holtz stamps, but do whatever ya want.
Add your sentiment over the threads with foam tape.
Such a simple card but I love it.
Supplies-
- card base, black card stock, adhesives, paper trimmer, scissors
- sentiment of your choice (I used this stamp set)
- stamped image
- black embroidery floss
