Hello my darlings. Today I have an art journal page to share with you.
Yup, the words are crooked.
I started with two base pages cut from heavy sketch book paper. I added some ripped up old book paper and Tim Holtz collage tissue paper. Then covered it with clear gesso. Once that was dry, I added some white gesso.
I inked the base page with Distress Oxide Inks. After adding the die cuts (Tim Holtz Idea-ology), I added some darker color around them with Gelatos.
I also added some die cuts (Sizzix/Tim Holtz) and inked over them.
I colored the Tim Holtz die cuts using the Oxide Inks.
Once I like all that, I sprayed a little sealer on it.
I put the words on crooked, but hey, it’s an art journal.
You’re allowed to make mistakes in an art journal. 😁🙀
