Hey there! How are you today?

I’m doing great! Halloween is my favorite so I’m loving making Halloween cards right now.

Today I’m playing along with the Color Dare challenge blog. You should play along too!

For this card I used stamps from Tim Holtz/Stamper’s Anonymous and dies from Spellbinders & Tim Holtz/Sizzix.

For this challenge. you must choose t least 2 colors from this inspiration photo.

I chose orange, purple, and green.

Wanna make a Halloween card with me?

Yay!

Here’s a shot of the supplies.

Ok, grab yourself a card base. Mine is white cause I’m out of black ones.

If your base is black, you won’t need to cut a black panel. If it’s white like mine, cut a panel to cover the card front from black card stock.

Cut a scalloped circle from glitter card stock and a smaller circle from another color of regular card stock. Layer those pieces together.

Now cut a piece of patterned paper (this star paper is from American Crafts) to 4 x 5.25″ and center on the card front.

Next, cut a strip of black card stock 3″ wide.

Cut a second patterned paper (this stripe is from last year but I don’t know the manufacturer) and layer with the black strip. Center this on the card front.

Put some cool trim across the center of the card. This is from Doodlebug.

Stamp bats on the card stock circle with black ink. Place it on the card front (centered) with foam tape.

Stamp the kitty with black ink onto white card stock. Add a little color. I used a blending brush and Distress Oxide ink.

Now it’s time to die cut Frank.

I cut him from green textured card stock three times and layered him up.

Then, sand him a little, and add some ink.

I used Distress Ink in Vintage Photo & Ground Espresso, along with a little Jet Black Archival ink.

Add Frank to the card front as shown. Put foam tape on his legs so that he’s even with the scalloped circle. Use glue/adhesive behind the rest of his body.

Now add the kitty.

I glued him down flat but you could use foam tape if you want.

His tail hangs down and that’s not gonna work, so cut it off and add it to the side of his booty.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white and trim. Add to the card using foam tape.

Add a few gems to the card. These were the perfect smokey color.

Stamp Happy Halloween and a bat inside, and you’re finished
