Hello friends!

I hope you’re all happy and healthy out there, and prepping for the holiday season.

Today I have another gnome card to share with ya, featuring the Stamptember release from Brutus Monroe & Simon Says Stamp. It’s sold out but there’s lots of other fun gnomes out there. I”ll link to some in the supply list at the end of this post.

Let’s make a gnome Christmas card.

First, let’s do some stamping and coloring.

Stamp the gnome and a few gifts. Color in your chosen method. I used Tim Holtz watercolor pencils.

Dry if needed and cut out.

Now, cut a panel of white card stock and stencil Ho Ho Ho over the entire thing using Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. Remove the stencil and go over the entire piece with the ink that’s left on the brush.

Trim down to slightly smaller than an A2 card and add to the card base.

Cut a piece of patterned paper and add to the bottom of the card.

This creates a ‘landing area’ of the gnome and gifts.

I started by gluing a couple of gifts down flat.

I found a couple of small tags in my stash and added them to the right.

Add the gnome in the center of the patterned paper using foam tape.

I had one present left. I cut it in half, put a little foam tape behind each half, and tucked one half in behind each side of the gnome.

Stamp the sentiment on white card stock with black ink. Trim into a strip and mount onto some gold card stock. Trim and glue flat to the card.

Now add some Stickles to the fuzzy parts of the gnome’s hat.

Add some sequins and other tiny embellishments. I used some tiny hearts and a couple of green glitter star die cuts that I found in the Christmas bin.

I really like this card. The Tim Holtz watercolor pencil colors were a great match for my patterned paper scrap. The stencil from Brutus Monroe makes a great background.
