Hello my fine feathered friends. I pray all is well in your corner of the world.

Today I want to share with you my latest little project using Dew Drops from The Robin’s Nest and a fun stamp set from Simon Hurley.

I started with a 5×7 canvas panel, Simon Hurley called Mythical Mermaids, some Dylusions & Distress paint, and of course DEW DROPS .

I did a video while making this. You can see it here.

This turned out so adorable and I think I’m going to send it to Simon.

Next, I made a couple of cards using this stamp set. I didn’t use and Dew Drops on them because I’m planning to mail them, and I’m out of padded envelopes right now.

I created the background on watercolor paper. Inked with two shades of blue Oxide ink, and stenciled with a third blue. Threw some water at it, dried it, and threw some Distress Spray Stain & Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist at it. I love the way the background turned out.

Once I was happy with the background, I trimmed it down to fit my card, and added the sand at the bottom. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink along with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing powder.

Stamp some seaweed using Distress Oxide ink. Cute, eh?

Choose your images, stamp, color, and cut out. I colored them with watercolor paints. I love the fish!

I also added some die cuts for a little layering. I think these cards are so darn cute. I hope you enjoy them.
