Hello my fine feathered friends. I pray you’re doing well and enjoying the summer.

I have a small 4×4 art journal page to share with you today.

This was a fun inky mess of a good time.

I started with my usual watercolor paper for the base page. I had used a Tim Holtz stencil on another project and I used the ink that was left on that stencil to make a print on the page. Then I added a little old book paper (of course) and some random watercolor paints. Pretty cool background.

Then I inked the whole thing with Distress Oxide Ink (Mermaid Lagoon).

Then I took some Glitter Ink (I LOVE this stuff) and ran it across the top edge of the page and let it run. SOOOOO pretty!

Stamp the words on some white card stock, ink to your heart’s delight, and add to the page. I used a white paint pen in the word making, and just roughly cut around the words.

I added some speckles with a stamp and Black Soot Archival Ink.

Pull the nizzle out of your white ink spray and throw some ink at the page for some cool white splatters.
