Hey there, hi there, ho there! Welcome back!

Today I have an art journal page to share with you.

I thought this turned out so cute. Let’s get started.

You’ll need some Distress Oxide inks, black Archival Ink, a stencil, Tim Holtz stamps, small alphabet stamps, water, Distress Spray Stain, Tim Holtz die sets 664406 & 662106.

A heat gun is helpful, too

Ink up your page with two colors of Oxide ink. Throw some water at it for drops to let the ink do its thing. Let dry or use heat gun. Use another (darker) ink through a stencil. Dry. Spritz a little Distress Stain Spray on the page, too.

Stamp a few stamps at random on the page using Archival Ink.

Cut out some foliage and arrange at the bottom of the page. I inked the green ones with Jet Black Archival Ink to grunge ’em up a bit.

Cut out your letter dies and place on page. To make lining them up easier, I use a centering ruler.

Once the die cut word is in place, use your ruler to evenly stamp the rest of the words above the die cut word.
