Hellooooo out there!

Today I have a slimline card to share.

Want join me in playing along with Color Dare?

Sweet!

The current challenge into use the colors shown below.

Black and white and gold are always free.

First, gather your supplies.

I actually have both Candy Apple & Lemonade in my stash! Yippee! I don’t have any card stock that closely resembles Papaya- but Distress Abandoned Coral makes a great stand-in, so I colored some card stock with the ink.

First thing I did was to color some white card stock with the Distress Oxide ink. I swiped on a layer of ink, dried it, swiped on a second layer and red it again.

Next, emboss your yellow card stock and sand the surface to expose the white core.

The embossing doesn’t cover the entire card, but that’s OK because it gives me a nice spot for the sentiment.

Add to the card front.

Now stamp your giraffe. I used Jet Black Archival Ink.

I added just a little color from the abandoned Coral ink pad with a wet paint brush.

Cut out the giraffe and add to the card front

Time for die cutting!

I used the set from Spellbinders, but use what ever flowers you like.

I cut the flowers from Lemonade, Candy Apple, my inked paper and glitter paper in white & black. I also cut the sentiment three times to stack it up.

Now start your flower arranging. Give your giraffe some flowers on her head and add some flowers at the bottom of the image.

Add your stacked sentiment to the bottom right of the card.

I aded e few sequins, too.
