Hey there! Welcome back! Today I have a gorgeous card (if I do say so myself) to share with you.

Come play along at the Color Dare Challenge Blog!

The challenge this week is to use these three colors.

I have Glacier in my stash but had to sub the other two colors. I found the inks closest to them in my stash and started playing.

Here’s most of the supplies. I subbed Prize Ribbon Distress ink for sapphire, and Memento Summer Sky for Periwinkle.

Alrighty, now….

Get yourself some watercolor paper and Prize Ribbon Distress ink. Ink up a good bit of paper, drop some water on it, and let the Distress Ink do its thing. Then dry with heat tool.

Next, rub the Memento ink on a good bit of watercolor paper. I like the texture I got from this. Dry with heat tool.

Cut the flower bases from the Prize ribbon paper, the details from the Memento inked paper, and the centers from gold & black. Assemble the flowers.

Add some black thread behind the larger flower. Go on, add a ton and make a mess.

Add foam adhesive behind the smaller flower.

Cut the cover plate die from black card stock. Adhere it over a Glacier panel, and add this to the card front. Add the larger flower with its thread mess behind it to the lower left corner of the card. Add the smaller flower positioned slightly overlapping the big flower.

Now it’s time to make the sentiment. I used a die from Spellbinders.

Cut the sentiment once from gold mirror cardstock, and twice from white. Stack ’em up.

Add to card front.

As a final touch, I added some Seashore confetti from Trinity stamps.

I am SOOOOOOO happy with this card. I hope you like it too!
