Hello friends, welcome back.
I have a fun card to share with you today. I’m playing along with Color Dare today and using the awesome Brutus Monroe / Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collab set.
I didn’t order the stamp & die combo- just the stamps.
Ya’ll- LOOK AT THAT DEER!!! 😍😍😍
This week’s challenge is a Tic Tac Toe.
I chose the colors in my stash that were closest to toffee, mocha, and nectarine.
I think I got pretty close!
Alrighty, let’s get to stamping.
Cut a strip of the nectarine card stock, stamp the leaf with embossing ink, and emboss with gold powder. Once cooled, go in with the leaf again and stamp with Vintage Photo Distress Ink (or any other brown ya have).
Cut a panel of the toffee and stamp the leaves (I put both leaves onto one acrylic block) with Vintage Photo. Ink the edges of the panel with Vintage Photo, too.
Cut a panel of mocha card stock (cover the entire card front to cut to 5.5×4.25″).
Grab some twine and wrap it around the orang strip. Add to the card front, to the left.
Place the stamped toffee panel onto the card front as shown (more to the right).
Stamp a few leaves on a scrap of card stock. Stamp in black ink and use a foam applicator to add Vintage Photo over the leaves. Cut ’em out.
Stamp your sentiment onto scrap of white card stock using black ink. Then use the foam applicator to add Vintage Photo ink. Trim out and in the edges in black.
Stamp the gnome on white card stock in black ink and color with your medium of choice. I used watercolor pencils. Fussy cut.
Die cut two circles- larger one from mocha card stock, smaller from toffee. Layer them and add the gnome.
Place the circles with gnome onto the card front.
Now start adding your leaves around the gnome.
Add some sequins/bling/etc.
Place the sentiment in the bottom right corner of the card.
So what do ya think? Isn’t he the cutest!!
I’d be so stoked if you played along with us!!
