Hello my fine feathered friends, welcome to another post.

Today I’d like to share a couple of cards with you. I’ve also posted these cards over on the Chattering Robins blog.

Dew Drops make fabulous flower centers, and Simon’s big bold flower image was perfect to use with them.

These are fairly simple cards. First thing I did was cover an 8.5×11 sheet of white card stock with flowers, stamping with black Archival Ink.

Cut the card stock into panels for the card (mine are 3.75×5). Mount onto a colored card stock mat (4×5.25). Put it on your card base.

Stamp and color some flowers and leaves.

I used watercolor and shimmer watercolor paints, stamped with Jet Black Archival.

Cut ’em out.

Choose your sentiment and stamp it.

Fussy cut around it, mat it on the same color card stock as the mat on the card base, and cut around it again, leaving a border of the colored paper.

Choose your Dew Drops for the flower centers.

Layer your flowers and leaves onto the card front. I glued some down flat and used foam tape on the top flower for a little dimension.

Add your Dew Drops to the flower centers (and anywhere else ya want them).

I used Tacky Glue to put the Dew Drops on.

Add your sentiment with foam tape, and any other little embellishments you’d like. I added a few clear sequins.

Aren’t they pretty? I loved the way these cards turned out.
