Hello out there. Happy August!

I have a cute card to share today using the little houses plate from Viva Las Vegastamps and some alcohol inks.

Here’s most of the supplies-

Let’s make a card.

First you need a piece of Yupo or some glossy card stock, and some alcohol inks.

Stamp your house onto a post it note and cut around it to use for a mask. Place it on your Yupo where you’re going to stamp your house.

Now ink the sky area using a couple of blues.

I used Sailboat Blue, Tranquil pearl, and a little Cool Peri.

Next ink the grass area. I used Sublime pearl and Clover. Remove the mask and ink the house area with Intrigue pearl & Raspberry. Once dry, stamp your house in the pink area using a permanent ink (I used Archival Jet Black).

If you need to, be VERY careful and clean up around the edges of your stamped house with your inking tool.

Stamp some fence panels onto brown or Kraft card stock.

Ink up a Yupo scrap with some greens and stamp the trees. I VERY CAREFULLY used an alcohol marker on the tree trunks.

Cut out two trees and 6 fence panels.

Now trim down your house panel an add to a black mat. place onto the card front.

Add your trees beside the house.

Use a white gel pen to add some details to the house.

Add one and a half fence panels to the right and the left of the house with foam adhesive. Add another half of a fence panel as shown to act as an open gate.

Handle the sentiment however you wish. I used a Tim Holtz word sticker.

Supplies-

  • card base, black Cardstock, Yupo or glossy card stock
  • alcohol ink tools, white gel pen, adhesives, scissors, paper trimmer
  • Permanent black ink (I used Jet Black Archival)

Here’s a couple of projects I did with this stamp set many years ago.

They’re still on the Viva Las Vegastamps website
