Hello friends! I’m back with another card to share.
I’m once again playing along with the Color Dare Challenge Blog.
For this card I used the Beach Day Treasures stamp & thin cut set from Close to My Heart, along with a word die from Spellbinders.
This challenge is to use three colors from the board for a tick-tack-toe
.
I chose the closest colors in my stash to Mocha, Gold, and Shortbread. Black & white are always freebies to use in these challenges.
This was a simple card that went together pretty easily.
First things first, gather your supplies.
Stencil a small bit in the lower right corner of your card base (or card panel) using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used. blending brush but you could use whatever you like.
Next stamp and die cut your seashells. I love these mages.
Now, let’s start our she arrangement. I put down some gold wash tape as kind of a landing spot for the shells. I glued most of the shells down flat, but the foremost shell I put on foam. I also added some gold thread behind it.
I die cut my sentiment from mirror gold card stock.
Supplies:
- card base
- card stock in brown, cream, and gold
- dot stencil (mine is from Simple Stories)
- Vintage Photo Distress Ink
- Jet Black & Coffee Archival Inks
- Beach Day Treasures stamp & thin cut set
- Spellbinders word die set
- Adhesives & foam suares
- Gold thread
- Gold half pearl embellishments
- Washi tape
- Scissors
Love the neutral look to your card and great layout. X
Thank you 🙂
Love your card! The monochrome colors work so well with the shells. Love the stenciled dots, too.
Wow – that has to be the hardest line in that grid but I love what you did! Great choice with the seashells 🙂
Thanks Alyson!!!
