Heyyy there, welcome back.

Today I’m playing along with the Color Dare Challenge Blog. Why don’t ya join me?

This week’s challenge is called Four Square. You have to use at least 3 of these 4 colors.

I’m using Sage, Scarlet, and Sapphire (in the form of Distress Chipped Sapphire).

Here’s the card I created. This awesome dragon is from Viva Las Vegastamps.

I also used a cloud stencil from Close to My Heart.

Here’s a shot of the papers and the stamp set.

Our card is going to be a regular A2 card, made in landscape orientation.

Grab a nice heavy piece of card stock (mine is Neenah 110 lb) or even some watercolor paper.

Stamp your dragon on the card stock, and also stamp & cut out a mask.

Place the mask over the cardstock image.

Next you’ll need a cloud stencil and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. Stencil a nice cloud background over your dragon. When that’s finished, use the left over ink on your bending tool over the background to take away the white.

Sparkle some water onto the panel to create drops. Let the Distress Ink do its thing, and then dry with a heat tool. Once it’s dry, add some shimmer spray. Dry with heat tool.

Now it’s time to color in the image. I only used three colors- Chipped Sapphire, Pumice Stone, and a brown watercolor marker. I used the shimmer spray with a paint brush for some sparkle highlights, and a white gel pen on his nails. He’s so cute.

Cut a panel of Sage & a panel of Scarlet. Cut the dragon panel down as well. I used three Waffle Flower dies so I didn’t have to try to measure 😂

Layer the panels as shown- kind of offset rather than straight on.

Add the layered panels to the card front.

Add a sentiment with foam tape. I used a Paper Rose sentiment strip.

Open up your card and use the ink that’s left on your blending tool to add color to the inside.

No nekkid insides!

My final step was to add some clear sparkly confetti from Trinity Stamps.
