Hey there, hi there, ho there. Welcome back!
Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you, using papers from Bella Blvd.
Sammy, my sweet little man. He’s 14 and it’s showing. He’s such a good boy.
I created this page using a sketch from The Scraproom.
Here’s a photo of the supplies…
We’ve got super pretty papers, a few dies, and a doily! This is a very simple page and was quick to create.
Let’s go!
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 6×8″ (mine is the heart print) and another piece to 5×11″.
Place the 11″ long piece to the right side of your base page. Layer the second pattern over top as shown.
Pick a piece of card stock to go with your papers (mine is a red Bazzil paper) and cut the crochet trim die to create a piece that is 7 3/4″ long. You’ll have to run the die through twice to get this length. Add it to the page as shown.
Now you need a doily and two 4×4″ photos.
Place the doily behind one of the photos with a little adhesive, and add the photo & doily to the page at an angle like you see here. I used some fun foam on the back of my photo to pop it up.
Add the second photo to the right.
Choose some embellishments. I used a couple of the paper pieces that are in the line. The ‘love you’ heart is popped up with some fun foam. I also cut out a rainbow from the patterned paper and added it beside the heart. I love the way this looks.
Now ya need a title! I cut men from the Alte New “Fine Alphabet” die set.
I cut it twice- once from yellow and once from red glitter, and layered the letters to create a drop shadow.
Add your title.
My final steps were to add some bling and a wee bit of journalling.
