Hello Friends! Welcome back 😍

Wanna make a card?

I’m playing along with Color Dare  agin! Woot!

This week’s challenge is grey with ONE color. As always, black, white, and gold are free to use.

Here’s the card I created.

This card used a lot of die cuts, but some were in the stash.

Typically when I die cut tiny things I do LOTS and add the to the die cut stash.

So, gather your supplies….card base, dies, border punch, Dew Drops or flat back pearls, card stock in two shades of grey, black, and white. Gold mirror cardstock, and paper of one other color of your choice.

I used Close To My Heart Pewter card stock with another grey from my stash.

For my extra color I chose an aqua- I used aqua/white patterned paper from Close To My Heart.

First I did all the die cutting and trimming all at once. Use the sketch below for inspiration.

Use the border punch on a 1″ wide strip of paper (or you could follow the sketch and do strip with a flag end).

Arrange your layers onto the card base.

Next, cut your sentiment from the mirrored card stock.

Cut 2-3 more from plain card stock and layer ’em up.

Place your die cut circle to the left of the card front using foam tape. Place the sentiment in the center of the circle.

Now you can start tucking die cuts around the circle from behind, and on top of it, too.

Add a few Dew Drops or flat back pearls.

SUPPLIES:

  • card base (landscape)
  • card stock- two shades of grey, black, white, gold, and one other color
  • Dew Drops or flat back pearls
  • adhesives, scissors, die cut machine
  • border punch
  • dies- Close To My Heart Z4309, Spellbinders S5-443
