Hello darlings, I hope all is well in your part of the interwebs. Have you heard of the 100 day project? I’m participating this year. It’s a lot of fun although it’s work keeping up with it. HA! I thought I’d show you my little projects from the first week.

Many people choose a subject or a medium to work in. Me, I just chose a size, because I had no idea what I wanted to focus on. I’m working on 4×4″ paper, called artist tiles. To cut the “tiles”, I gathered up all my partial pads of watercolor and heavy sketch paper…you know when you get down to just a few sheets that are left. So my stack of “tiles” has alllll kinds of different papers.

Here’s the tiles, cut and corners rounded. I had SUCH a mess LOL

Here’s day 1. The butterfly was cut on the Silhouette Cameo 4.

Day 2. Watercolor and Distress Ink background. Bad butterfly sketch, and tiny letter stamps.

Day 3. Watercolor, Dylusions stamps, and frog stamp from Viva Las Vegastamps.

Word strips from Tim Holtz.

Day 4. Distress inks, stencil, very very old stamp from Fancy Pants designs, and word strips from Tim Holtz.

Day 5, my wedding anniversary {26!!!}. Super simple Distress Ink & stencil background with a poorly drawn heart tree (used a Posca pen). Cut the 26 from black glitter paper.

Day 6. This is one of my favorites so far!! Simple sketch, a splatter background stamp with two Distress Oxide colors, scrap of paper with a word stamp from Tim Holtz. I like this one a lot!

Day 7. I really just kept adding Distress inks on this paper till I liked it LOL. A little glitter washi tape, a crumpled and inked piece of kraft card stock. A die cut from the Silhouette, and the flowers/leaves are a stamp & die set from Wendy Vecchi.

Day 8. A simple hibiscus sketch. The background is watercolor with a little Distress In and some Gloss Spray through a stencil. I’m pretty pleased with this.

Day 9 Here’s my Weiner! HAHAHA!!! Used Distress Inks through a stencil, a die cut flower from the Silhouette, little tag die cut from Sizzix, and stamps from Viva Lasvegastamps.
